About CVEC Fiber

CVEC Fiber is Created and Owned by Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative to Improve Life and Serve Community.

Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative Inc. was incorporated on November 10, 1939, and is a nonprofit, publicly owned utility cooperative, dedicated to benefiting its members in the East Central Region of Oklahoma.

Much like the need for reliable power was identified in 1939, the need for fast, reliable broadband services throughout the communities that CVEC serves has been highlighted as an essential need. Fulfilling our mission statement, “Improve Life, Serve Community”, CVEC Fiber was created with the purpose of providing fast, reliable fiber internet to all members, businesses, and municipalities within our footprint.

This project, upon completion, will encompass approximately 4,100 miles of fiber and serve over 18,000 rural Oklahoma homes, businesses, schools, and government entities with a state-of-the-art fiber network.

Dependable internet is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity for many individuals. CVEC Fiber is proud to play a part in improving the quality of life in the communities we serve by providing robust, reliable internet access in our service area. This essential service allows employees to work remotely, students to learn virtually, and families to complete these tasks simultaneously.
