CVEC Fiber is Providing the Affordable Connectivity Program!

CVEC Fiber is now providing the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) to improve our customers’ lives and serve our local community.

This government-funded program assists with costs related to broadband services. Eligible ACP households can receive up to a $30/month discount on their broadband bill or up to a $75/month discount if located on Tribal land! The majority, if not all, of households on CVEC territory, are located on tribal land. The $75 discount is available to those who live on tribal land and you do not need to have a tribal affiliation to qualify. However, households must meet one of the following criteria below:

  • Household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines;

  • Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline;

  • Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations;

  • Participates in the National School Lunch Program or the School Breakfast Program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision;

  • Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; or

  • Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider's existing low-income internet program.

The eligible households that obtain a $75 discount, can receive our Essential 150 Mbps package for FREE! Our Elite 1Gbps package for $10.00 or our EPIC 2.4 Gbps package for $75.00!!
