How do I sign up for fiber internet service through SmartHub for the web?

 
  1. Go to the Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative and CVEC Fiber SmartHub login page and log in using your current Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative SmartHub credentials.

    *If you do not have a SmartHub account click the link following the New User? located at the bottom of the screen.

2. Select the “My Services” tab and then select the “Modify/Add Services” button.

* If the Modify/Add Services button is not visible on the screen, this means you are not located in an area with active services.

3. Click the triangle next to the “Fiber Internet Plans” in the orange bar to expand the service options.

4. Once the plan options are expanded on the screen, select the level of service desired then hit the “Continue to Plan Options” button.

5. Select any equipment or add-on items available and then hit “Continue to Summary”.

6. Review Service selections and then hit the “Continue” button. Once your area is actively installing there will be a “Select your desired service start date” to the lower left of the “Review Service Selections” section.

* If your area is just opening for sign-ups you will not see the section to “Select your desired service start date”

7. Review the Estimated Charges Screen and then hit the “Submit Request” button.

8. At this point, the confirmation message will display and your service request will be submitted.

9. You will need to sign the Terms and Services Agreement that will arrive at the email address registered with your SmartHub account and your $100 Installation fee will be reflected on your first month’s bill.

10. After you Signed the Terms and Services Agreement, your request will go to our install team, who will reach out to you shortly to schedule your installation.
